What am I actually buying with Pro and Studio?
A software subscription. You're paying for ongoing access to the SiftVid cloud — the encrypted backup of your library, the cross-device sync, and the streaming endpoints that let you watch your own footage from another machine. Plus continued software updates and support. You are not buying content, storage tokens, or anything resaleable.
What happens if I cancel and I have stuff in the cloud?
Your subscription remains active to the end of the current billing period. You can download everything back to local storage at any point. After cancellation we retain your encrypted backup for 30 days as a safety net, then it's permanently deleted. The desktop app and your local library are unaffected by cancellation.
Can I share my library with someone else?
No. SiftVid is single-user software, end-to-end. There's no public link feature, no shared folders, no "family plan" with shared libraries. Sharing credentials is grounds for termination under our Acceptable Use Policy.
Do you take refunds?
Yes — within 14 days of first purchase, no questions asked. Email support@siftvid.com and we'll refund the full amount.
Are there team or enterprise plans?
Not yet. SiftVid is currently single-user only. If you're a small studio with multiple seats and you'd use it, tell us — we're sizing demand for a team tier.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major cards via Stripe. Annual invoicing available on Studio for $200+ orders.
