Refund Policy

01The 14-day window

SiftVid is a $14.99 one-time purchase — there is no subscription to cancel, so a refund is the only monetary action there is to take. Requests made after the 14-day window are not eligible under this policy.

02What's covered

• —Any SiftVid license purchased directly on siftvid.com through Stripe Checkout, within 14 days of the purchase date.
• —The full purchase price ($14.99) is refunded — we do not charge a restocking or processing fee.

One refund per license. A previously refunded license key cannot be refunded again if re-purchased and used past the new purchase's own 14-day window.

03How to request a refund

Refunds are self-service — there is no approval queue or negotiation. Email reply@siftvid.com with your license key or the email address used at purchase. If the purchase date is within 14 days, the refund is processed against the original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days by Stripe once approved.

04What happens after a refund

A refund deactivates the associated license key — the same revocation mechanism described in the Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms of Service. SiftVid runs entirely on your device: deactivating a license key disables paid functionality but touches no user files. Your local library, exports, and settings are untouched and remain on your PC.

You may continue using SiftVid's unlicensed functionality after a refund, the same as any other non-purchasing user.

05Trial users

The 7-day full-access free trial has no charge, so there is nothing to refund during a trial. If you decide not to purchase, paid functionality simply turns off when the trial ends — your local library remains fully intact and accessible.

06Changes to this policy

We will keep this page in sync with Section 06 of the Terms of Service. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date at least fourteen days before they take effect. Questions? Email reply@siftvid.com.
